Many think the Flamingos were the cream of the crop in Doo-wop with classics such as “I Only Have Eyes for You” and “Lovers Never Say Goodbye.” As a matter of fact they have over a dozen records worth up to $1,000.00 each or more. Many of their original 45s like “That’s My Desire” on Chance records on red vinyl (as seen here) sell up to $1500.00. Their 1959 album “The Flamingos,” released on Checker records in 1959, is worth up to $700.00 today. The Flamingos are among the over 65,000 recording artists you’ll find on the “Mighty John Record Appraisal Guide” on CD listing the values for over a million records (albums, 45s, & 78s).
