One of the true Blues legends was Big John Wrencher also known as One Arm John after losing his left arm as a result of an auto accident. He was an itinerant musician but best known for his performances on Maxwell Street Market in Chicago. In 1976 Barrelhouse records released the “Maxwell Street Alley Blues” album. An orange cover with artwork by Robert “Keep On Truckin” Crumb is worth up to $600.00 today. Find the most up-to-date value of your records from Mighty John the Record Guy within 24 hours.
