November 24, 2014 Record of the Day

At the end of the Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis movie “Pardners,” the boys tried to put aside the rumors that they were about to break up by shooting up “The End” sign and exclaiming “We’re not ready for ‘the end’ yet” and insisted that they loved working with each other. The day of the movie release, they broke up with a final appearance at the Copacabana. So much for loving to work together. The EP soundtrack of “Pardners,” released on Capitol records in 1956, is worth up to $150.00 today. “Pardners” is just one of the 10,000 soundtracks listed on our Soundtracks CD, covering movies, TV shows, and Broadway shows. It’s available in the left hand column.
