January 17, 2023 Record of the Day

Francis Albert Sinatra was a true legend in music and movies. He can be considered the first teen idol as the “bobbysoxers” went wild when ole’ blue eyes performed. Movie fans found his acting very appealing as well. He won an academy award for his part in “From Here To Eternity.” A founding member of the Rat Pack in Vegas, Sinatra’s first record with band leader Harry James was “From The Bottom Of My Heart.” Released on Brunswick Records in 1939, its worth up to $1,500.00 today.
