February 6, 2024 Record of the Day

George Harrison’s “Something” is something when it is released as the “A” side of a Beatles’ 45, a first for Harrison. With “Come Together” on the flip side, the single will reach number one. A copy on Apple Records is worth up to $20.00. However, if you see the logo for Capitol records on the “Come Together” side, (It would be in the lower right corner on the edge) the value jumps up to $125.00. If either version comes with a generic record company sleeve that has the words, “The Beatles on Apple,” with the rest of the sleeve a solid black, you can add up to $200.00.
