In 1953, Chance Records released “That’s My Desire” by the Flamingos, one of the best known groups of the day. A black vinyl copy is worth up to $500.00 but an original red vinyl single can get you $1,000.00 today. In 1957, Rockabilly singer, Wayne Williams, recorded “Red Hot Mama” for Sure Records. A copy is now valued up to $2,000.00.
