It all started for Leslie Gore when she was 16 years old in 1963 with her smash hit,“It’s My Party,” reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. With picture sleeve, it can sell for $40.00. All of her hits like “You Don’t Own Me” and “She’s A Fool” were produced by Quincy Jones. Her follow up hit to “It’s My Party” was a sequel called “Judy’s Turn to Cry.” Released on Mercury Records in 1963 the single, with its picture sleeve, is worth up to $75.00 today.
