Rock N Roll Hall of Fame band, Santana, named for lead guitarist and founder, Carlos Santana, was one of the most successful groups to emerge from Woodstock. Winners of 8 Grammy Awards, the band was born in 1967 in San Francisco. Shortly after their Woodstock appearance, Columbia Records released Santana’s first album. It quickly became a top-10 smash on Billboard’s album chart. The album single, “Evil Ways,” also went top-10 but is worth no more than $10.00.
