The Band’s debut album, “Music From Big Pink, was released in 1968 shortly after they began backing up Bob Dylan. The album is considered to be revolutionary and, according to Rolling Stone Magazine, one of the greatest Rock N Roll albums of all time even though it’s not certified gold. The best-known single from the album is “The Weight.” It’s worth no more than $10.00 but an original copy of the album on Capitol Records can sell for $250.00 today.
