Prior to his “Singing the Blues,” Guy Mitchell recorded as Al Grant for King Records. “Singing the Blues” was released by Columbia Records and is now worth up to $40.00 with its picture sleeve. His album “Sincerely Yours, released by King Records in 1959 and featuring some tracks recorded as Al Grant, does not have his name either as Al Grant or Guy Mitchell on the cover. An original copy can sell for $250.00 today.
