September 1, 2023 Record of the Day

By 1966 Elvis movies were so formulated that Elvis wasn’t anxious to do them. An example would be “Spinout.” The single of “Spinout” barely cracked the top 40 on Billboard’s Hot 100. The soundtrack album was released by RCA in mono as well as stereo. Either version is worth up to $50.00 today. But you can add another $50.00 if you have the 12 x 12 bonus Elvis photo that came inside the album. Add another $25.00 if there is a sticker on the cover, as seen here, announcing the bonus photo.
