Known as “Gentleman Jim,” Country superstar Jim Reeves continued to have hits after his death. Reeves first hit the charts big time in 1954 with “Bimbo.” In 1957, he had one of his biggest hits with “Four Walls.” His best known hit came in 1959 with “He’ll Have to Go.” Two years after his death, his single “Distant Drums” hit #1 on the Country charts. But his journey began in 1950 with his first record on Macy’s record label. With “Teardrops of Regret” on one side and “My Heart’s Like a Welcome Mat” on the flip, a copy is worth up to $500.00 today.
